Browns sued by Cleveland over proposed move
The city of Cleveland has filed a lawsuit to stop the Browns from leaving their lakefront stadium and building a domed stadium in suburban Brook Park.

So, the city is trying to keep the owners from building a DOMED STADIUM within the same county, which would mean an even greater usefulness to the city and might attract MORE in the way of athletics events and conventions even. Should bring more jobs.
Instead of trying to work out a deal with them to keep so many games at the old stadium each season, they are just trying to crush modernization and upgrading of team facilities.
People in Cleveland can't have nice things because the city isn't going to make as much money off of it? Wait... won't the city or county get even MORE revenue from a domed stadium by way of taxes, jobs created, and year round use of a domed facility?
Or is it that the city officials won't get the kickbacks and campaign "donations" they would get if they simply "renovated the existing facility and property? Yeah. I'll go with the latter.
Seems the Modell Rule is gonna bite the city in the asp unless they have a corrupt judge in their pocket. Says the team (according to ESPN) just needs to give 6m notice of intent to change venues, which they have done. What do yall think?
Any browns fans still lurking around Kentucky?
