Good decision on his part. He stays here 4 years and contributes even in a tertiary role to a F4/title type season and he’s a legend here based off the High School lore + 4 years on successful tournament teams.

Great decision. He’s never gonna be a pro but he can be a UK legend with a 4yr career and be set for life with whatever he wants to do in the bluegrass after school.
If Perry himself believes he has major D1 talent there is 0 reason for him to leave UK. Name another school in SEC where he would have gotten as much playing time as he did here this year. I ambivalent about this myself. I kept reading about his prolific ability to score but saw scant evidence of it. I think the coach is a better judge than I about wether has the goods to play here.
Program kid, he will work his butt off not embarrass you program. He will be a 12-18 minute a game player before he leaves and will be a deadly shooter, with a quick release. He will be one of the guys who keeps the floor spaced.
