Drawing fouls on offense is a skill.
Not fouling on defense is also a skill.
The discrepancy isn't based on Ref bias. It's based on how well both teams are in that area.
Houston is the 2nd best defensive team in the country. They are also 323rd in Free Throw Rate. On offense, they are 241st in drawing free throws.
If you are going to beat that team, that's exactly how you must do it.
Four losses in the regular season
Iowa St +10 on free throws (lost by 4)
TCU +16 (lost by 1)
Kansas +5
Iowa St +9

I work with a lot of Purdue people. Some of them are extremely nice. I can't pull against Purdue.
Be hilarious if Bama and UT play in the title game. Two teams that could win one damn game in their conference tourney playing for it all. Nothing makes sense in CBB anymore.

I enjoy this board in general. No matter what time it is, and no matter how dead the rest of the boards are. There is always action here
This tournament is the stuff of nightmares. Like, I have zero rooting interest for anyone left.
