Free Throw Attempts per Field Goal Attempt

You are ignoring the fact that 12 of Bama’s FTs were at the end of the game when we were intentionally fouling.

Stop with the officiating nonsense.

There were 3 on a three point shot “foul” when we were down 6 and Sears fell down.

2 were when we had someone doubled in the backcourt and were trying to steal.

2 were on a rebounding foul on Amari that kept us from setting our press after Ansley cut it to 4.

Bama never made another basket after that barrage to push it to 9, but they were hardly all intentional fouls.

They were also all double bonus (other than the shooting foul), putting much less game pressure on Bama.

They attacked the rim all day. We met them at the rim all day and the fouls added up. Oats had a good game plan. ISO ball will work on KY. Pope has made adjustments all year so I expect him to address that again.
We attacked the rim more than they did. Look at their average 3pt attempts compared to attempts today and ours.

We were met at the rim consistently with “clean” blocks.

These threads crack me up. It's like a religion. One side just has to be right that the team just messed up and lost. The other says the refs interfered and caused the loss. The truth is it can be both.

The cats didn't all show up again today. They made some bonehead plays; like Robinson jacking up a 30 foot three that killed out momentum. Don't do that and we continue to build momentum and the lead. Throwing the ball away down the stretch. Brea can't hit the ocean. Perry is a liability. Williams had good numbers but his impact was negative. So on.

The refs yet again called a biased game. They made Porn Stash look like a superstar. They let Bama ride our backs, chicken wing, and walk all over the damned floor. How many times did Butler slam into the floor today with no calls. Our player falls down on the shot no foul, but Bama trips over their own feet and gets a foul every time. It. Is. Biased. Those who can't see that aren't the basketball aficionados they think they are.

Take away either of the above problems and we win easily.

Here's my problem with this statement: it should NEVER be both. Kentucky will never play perfect games, and they can have bad games. It happens. That part is fine. And no one here is really saying Kentucky played all that well.

But the refs interfering and causing a loss shouldn't even be fathomable.. it legit should not happen. Now mistakes can be made, but i would think those mistakes even out.. you get some, you lose some. I watch my Jets and my Rockets win a game here and there cause of fouls, and I see them lose a game because of it.

We have become way to "ok" with bad officiating.

Like death and taxes…..it will always be both. You can only expect a team to control what’s in their control

Then be prepared to probably not win much in March, if this is how it's going to be. Taking wins away means not getting a top seed. Not getting a top seed, ON TOP of shorty officiating means we probably aren't winning 4 in a row to make. F4

I've never seen, in any sport, such a problem with officiating. Not just with UK, but with home/away games as well. Its all around broken.

And if we want to fix this, at least in part.. we have to get fans behind the bench. Low effort fix IMO.

Didn’t co-sign anyone’s exhaustive post history. Just acknowledged he could be right about this
I made a post the other day he didn’t like. He responded with some passive aggressive snarky shit. We went back and forth for a while and that was that. Now he wants to claim I am following him around. That’s a bitch move. Now he’s crying that I’m being mean to him. I tried to talk ball today and he was an ass again and that’s fine with me.

Bro I just think we all feel bad today. I get salty after a loss. They can crush a fan quick. As far as your posts, I’ve never seen anything problematic from you. And I thought your point about the officiating is a fair point.
