I think we gamble on a younger coach like Golden that can be around for a while
I think you're 100% accurate with this. A lot of people are saying they wouldn't be excited with a Drew hire, but I don't even think he'd come here.

No to Hoiberg but I am watching another Iowa St coach closely this postseason… TJ Otzelberger has promise.

I could be wrong, but to the best of my memory, UK has been turned down by it's first choice every time since Coach Hall retired. I think, Lute Olson was the choice before Sutton and after Sutton along with PJ Carlisimo. Then when Pitino left maybe Tubby was first, but when Tubby left of course Donovan turned us down both when Tubby left and when Billy Clyde was fired.

The dude was on the hot seat last year at NEBRASKA.
Because most are better than the current version of Calipari.
