Why do so many opposing players fall to the ground after they miss a shot against us?

Are they coached to do that?

Are we really that much more physical? NOT

It pisses me off and makes basketball damn near unwatchable. If I wanted to see a bunch of sissies fall over for fouls, I'd watch soccer.

Candy-ass shooters.

Most of the time the ref's eyes are already following the trajectory of the shot and have no clue what did or didn't happen. They just blow the whistle because someone is laying on the ground.

It's still one-sided, though. On Almonor's late 3, Nelson was underneath his as he tired to land. We haven't gotten that call go our way all year, but it seems like it's been called against us 15 times or more. If we get that call on that play, it could have been a 4-pt play and the foul called on Williams against Sears while the ball was in flight would not have counted because the foul on Nelson would have ended the play.

Little things like that can decide a game.

I just wish we'd get closer to a 50-50 benefit.

Our players don't whine and our coach doesn't whine - kudos to them for that - but the SEC office needs to counsel the refs to be much more unbiased.
