Here's the latest part in an ongoing series on Luke Fortner. Very bright kid both on and off the field.

Fortner's versatility is one of the things that makes him an impressive player. He's played center and tackle, primarily, but the expectation is he will play guard. Still, that expectation mostly exists because Jackson's a center and both Young (and to a lesser extent, Leavitt, who has limited eligibility) are tackles all the way.

Anyways, here are my rough expectations for the future of the line:

-- Sources close to the program do believe Leavitt should come in and win one of the starting tackle positions.

-- The hope is that Landon Young can compete for a starting tackle position as well. As a true freshman.

-- That's because there is probably a real openness to moving George Asafo-Adjei to offensive guard.

-- Drake Jackson has said he expects to be on the field by Year Three, but I think there's a real chance he follows Toth as early as 2017, as a RS-Fr or a true sophomore.

That means the line could have the makeup of a very young unit, very quickly -- but it would be more because of the influx of talent in the program. Of course, this is all based on the hope that those players will come in and wow everybody.
