I would have loved to have had him but that asking price was too much.
Osobor is getting 33 minutes/game. Williams under 20. Love Williams for this team. Rebounds out of his area big time. Plus Williams wanted to be here and Osobor wanted to get paid. Check his stats against Nevada, the only decent team they've played.

Osobor shooting 34.5% from the field vs. Amari’s 54.8%
I really wanted Osobor even after we lost him. But honestly, if he was here right now, how would we use him outside practice?
I’m infinitely happier with Garrison and Almonor, the guys we wound up with instead.

Osobor might have been better this year but I will take multiple years of Brandon Garrison over him all day, every day.
Pretty sure Washington was going to match his highest offer and he was going to join his coach there no matter what. I believe CMP sensed this and decided to move on to Garrison.

Amari does that in 14 less Minutes and is much better offense both passing and scoring. Amari is a better big in all areas
Williams averages 23rpg per 40.
Osobor averages just shy of 16.
Osobor is great (ha) but isn't even close to Amari. He would have been awesome to have but if I had to pick which one, it's Williams every day and twice on Sunday for his defense and passing alone. I did NOT expect Oscar level rebounding.
