The violations were in 22 & 23 seasons and NIL officially started in 2021 but not to the same degree they are now. The sanctions were handed out last week.

I would say that the NCAA is so mad at Duke & UNC for all their cheating that they're going to hit Fordham with 3 years of sanctions, but as we all know the NCAA doesn't get mad at their 2 Sacred Cows, Duke & UNC.
