Forde gets dig in at Cal again

Great job by the OP posting what he said without the link so he does not get hits. That is how you do it.

As for Moe (he is a retread poster, forgot which one, assuredly awful though)....pretty sure nothing that is done in an athletic event is also allowed in a regular workplace. Thanks for reminding us though!

You mean you can't set a pick on your company president? No wonder I keep getting fired.

Ass slapping the interns are frowned upon, just fyi.

Pretty sure Ulis would also not make it in the real world after seeing that shove of Skal.

It's mind boggling to me how Cal getting tossed from a game is more of a talking point or issue than what has and is happening at Louisville. I guess some think that if you talk about something else, that problem goes away. Well, it won't!

I guess when a person is taken over by jealousy for others, they can't hide their feelings in any fashion. It just oozes to the surface.

Staged or not - people are talking about the officiating on a more national level now, right?
I don't think Cal meant to get ejected - I do think he expected to get a technical though. We have spent all season, no - the last several seasons recognizing that UK tends to get the short end of the stick in officiating. And it's not just blown calls or stupid calls, there have been many instances of dangerous play: the shoves, the undercuts, etc.
How is Cal supposed to react? Oh, it's all part of the game - no worries if you get a career ending injury? No - Cal is going to go to the mat for his "sons." He put up with it long enough - so he acted.
I know if my son played for Cal - I'd be proud that he was so fiery about it. He's got those kids' backs - and now they have his.

Moe undoubtedly has gray hair and sits in the lowers . I'd guess smuggles in cheap wine , but tells friends its an expensive import .

Atlanta wine is my drink of choice. Sometimes flavored with cherry. The last regular season game I've been able to get to was one of the early season games in John Wall's year when my in-laws from California made it to town. Although I went to the MissSt game in 77 with my Dad, I've always sat in the upper, raucous seats. And, of course, I have gray hair. Here's Keats writing about us ancients on RR:

Here, where men sit and hear each other groan;
Where palsy shakes a few, sad, last grey hairs,
Where youth grows pale, and spectre-thin, and dies;
Where but to think is to be full of sorrow
And leaden-eyed despairs ...

I think Calipari's ejection was planned and his tirade was pure theater. It is embarrassing for a grown man to act like that. (I've been a UK fan since the days of Cotton Nash.) Anyone in government, teaching, or business who acted like that would be fired on the spot and immediately escorted from the premises. The only provinces of adult life where such behavior is tolerated are entertainment and sport. But even there it's not without consequences. Christian Bale's famous harrangue turned him into a laughing stock for a week, and Bobby Knight's frequent excesses made him an object of scorn. The only saving grace for Calipari is the transparency of its theatricality. If it had been real he should retire and live on Xanax and blood thinners. The game isn't worth a stroke.

When you come into the room do people scurry? asking for a friend

I chest bumped my female boss this morning.

Know anybody who's hiring?

Here is his dig in the latest "Forde Minutes"...

Coaches who should take the bus to work: John Calipari, Kentucky. Though touched by the extraordinary apologia from ESPN’s Seth Greenberg Monday night – he was tired, he was stressed, the same ref should never give both technicals – The Minutes would like to hear an explanation of what really led to Calipari’s spectacular meltdown and ejection three minutes into the game at South Carolina on Saturday. Cal didn’t speak to the media after the game (for the second time in three years following an ejection at South Carolina) and batted away the question on the SEC teleconference Monday: “I can’t talk about it.”

So we’ll just assume that the official who ran off Cal, Doug Sirmons, is a corrupt and conniving skunk who has it in for Calipari. (As have so many other people throughout the coach’s career.) That’s a handy justification for Cal so completely losing his cool that he had to be restrained by numerous players and was escorted off the court with his shirt untucked and composure shredded. Go with that one.

No need to give this jerk any more hits. His venom against Cal is personal and predictable. Why even read the tripe from this urchin?
