This Morning.
Step Back and first think of where we were almost a year ago. We had a Coach who didn’t really care for all us Basketball Bennies and in the end didn’t care about UK Basketball. We had No Coach. We had No Players. We had one recruit.
Since then we hired a Coach who has as much UK Blue Blood in his blood as any of us. He assembled a team of mostly players who played at schools in minor conferences and most were roll players on those teams. None were Superstar Players.
And what has this team of misfits accomplished?
A 22-11 record. A 3-4 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Beat Duke, Gonzaga, UL,Florida, UT twice. 11 Quad one wins. Playing most games minus key players. Playing your 4th string freshman point guard.
So step back. Enjoy our NCAA Tournament run no matter how short or long it will be. Enjoy and Celebrate with all our players who came here because they dreamed and wanted to wear the Name “Kentucky “ on their Jersey. Their time is growing Short as a UK player. So Enjoy!! It’s all Gravy from here. We are playing on House Money
