Starting to get a very bad feeling about the situation . If it's that serious how long before he reinjures it , playing against SEC type athletes .
Do we have full contact practices on Thursdays and walk-thrus on Fridays? If so tomorrow would seem to be Flannigan's last shot. If he can't go tomorrow he's out I would assume.

just guessing but it was probably dislocated. read that that has a 4 to 12 week recovery time and it seems like that fits what flannigan is dealing with.Anyone have any idea regarding the specifics of the injury, other than just a "shoulder injury"? What do you all think it might be with the length of time he has been out?
Yes. If he did. But I think he'll play even if his first game back is our 7th gameIf so cold flanigan redshirt for this season and stil be able to play next season ? We would have a freaking great LB core next year if so.
I'm not sure about that. The kid surely wants a chance to make a real impression with NFL staffs. If he misses the first half of the season, he might be asking the staff to hold him out.Yes. If he did. But I think he'll play even if his first game back is our 7th game
I have a really bad feeling weve lost flannigan for most of the season.
Maybe you are right. But I honestly think he'll be back before that unless something changes for the worst.I'm not sure about that. The kid surely wants a chance to make a real impression with NFL staffs. If he misses the first half of the season, he might be asking the staff to hold him out.
actually stoops is not even in the decision process and he's not like petrino and gonna talk down a doctor for not clearing a player. he's said what the deal is... if the medical staff clears him he'll play and he'll let us know when he knows. bobby brow beat a guy at western to get a player cleared but stoops has said that he doesn't even have a say after a player is "hurt". it goes to medical staff and they are the only say.I'm thinking we get him back after the bye week, just a guess as we really don't know what the injury is, A lot of times shoulder injuries can be easily reagrivated and Ryan may need several more weeks. We will see. I will say this, anyone that has ever played competitive sports knows the coach will be pushing him to come back as soon as possible, I don't give a darn what stoops says to the media, I just hope they don't bring him back too soon where he plays one or two games then hurts it again and is done fore the season
There is an old saying coaches often say, " there is a difference in being hurt and being injured" if he is just "hurt" and can play through the pain, I guarantee the coach, whomever it is will apply at least subtle pressure for the kid to get back in there. Sometimes that is a fine line though and you can guarantee the head coach helps pick out the doctors that see it his way. That's just how it works.actually stoops is not even in the decision process and he's not like petrino and gonna talk down a doctor for not clearing a player. he's said what the deal is... if the medical staff clears him he'll play and he'll let us know when he knows. bobby brow beat a guy at western to get a player cleared but stoops has said that he doesn't even have a say after a player is "hurt". it goes to medical staff and they are the only say.
no its about being able to play. he has to meet certain criteria to clear medical. i know thats how they used to do it and guys like petrino will risk a kids future to win a game but stoops has taken himself out of the equation. it is what it is. if you dont believe that then OK. now stoops may talk him into either rs'ing or not rs'ing depending on how long this drags out and that could be seen as whatever you want it to be but flannigan will play when he is physically able to clear medical. There is an old saying coaches often say, " there is a difference in being hurt and being injured" if he is just "hurt" and can play through the pain, I guarantee the coach, whomever it is will apply at least subtle pressure for the kid to get back in there. Jabari Johnson is a senior. Meadows is an offensive tackle.Meadows and Johnson should be back, right? That doesn't alleviate the LB issue of course but just checking.
Come on.I'm going to have to say pitting Flanigan against Hyde in a drill is a dumb coaching mistake. Yeah football is a violent sport and all that but getting your starter hurt in a macho drill does more harm than good and it happens way too much. This is the first incident where I think our coaches got carried away and did something stupid.
Cory Johnson.Jabari Johnson is a senior. Meadows is an offensive tackle.
unfortunately for you that was an accurate post. You really have no clue on anything you mentioned.
