Butler hurt ankle?

Best thing we can do now is bring the Butler clone out of cryo.

When Butler is back to 100% our starting lineup looks like:

Butler
Butler
Oweh
Carr
Williams

and bring in Jaxson for a lift off the bench.
In an ideal world we’d go

Butler
Butler
Butler
Carr
Williams

And bring in Oweh and Robinson together for a double whammy off the bench at the first timeout.

But we have to deal with reality.

Nah just bring all 3 butlers off the bench

Some may disagree, but I don't think we can beat Gonzaga without him. He is the one player we can't do without, not just this game but from here on out.
I agree with you. Gonna be tough to take down the zags with Krissa and Chandler at point

I’ve got a feeling Butler will play if he has at least one working leg

I want Butler on the court as much as possible. He just makes the right play.

That is a bullish!t take. Haven’t seen anyone say that. Some have said they would like to see Perry get some of Kerr’s minutes, which is a natural thing when Kerr played so poorly, especially shooting.
Yeah, I just scanned through the Perry thread to see if anyone said he was better than Butler. Didn’t find it anywhere.

Tape that bad boy up and roll on. Then sit him for Colgate and hopefully he’ll be fresh for UL. After that we have like 1 game in 20 days or something so he should heal up nicely.

Unfortunately ankles and other body parts don't always comply.

If he feels up for it and the mobility is fine, then of course he will play, as he should. But if it's lingering, and needs to heal, you have to sit him for this game and maybe next. We need him if we want to do anything this year. And if he's out, then get Perry in there to see what he can do. If we lose, oh well. This was probably going to be a hard one to win even with a healthy Butler.

Butler was +17 and Krissa was-21 vs Clemson. We have to have Butler on the court 35+ minutes to be our best. Nobody else on our roster is as strong with the ball and we have several guys with really loose handles.

While he might play 35 vs a select few opponents in the tournament, he is not going to play that very often. That just goes against Pope’s philosophy of using depth to cause late game fatigue for his opponents. It worked in the Duke game. Probably would have worked had Butler been able to play his normal 25-28 minutes with Kerr playing the remaining 12-15.

We aren't beating the Zags without Butler. I think everyone saw what Krissa brings to the table. It is like chopped liver compared to steak. I think you can figure out which one is which.

your posts are insurable and get worse daily you are not the internet police
I don't need insurance on my posts, I have the moxy to back then up. No I am not the Internet police, but I am 100% not alone in wondering why you are so divisive, constantly attacking fans here. I'd ask you to come up for air, but you seem to be enjoying yourself on Ol' Squeals.

Injuries are unfortunately part of the game. At least now we actually hear about them.

At this stage healing up is the main thing. A W or L against the Zags is only water cooler talk and up or down the ratings elevator.
Hope the guy heals well and yeah...more fast than slow.

I've seen a few people using the +/- stat to make their point about this. I may be in the minority, but imo +/- for a single game by itself should never be used to determine the contribution of a player. The stat can be very misleading for a one game sample.
I say that for any player, not just the debate with Butler/Krissa.
