We can’t seem to control the pace against these football teams. Why not begin the game pressing and trapping to force a fast pace? You can always go back to man later on

Might work if the refs wouldn’t foul out all of our players in the first 10 minutes.

Agree. I honestly thought Pope would bring back that major piece of the Pitino years. But we actually rarely press.

And he allowed Georgia to press us, and didn't respond in kind. Right now I think some of what is happening is that Pope is slow to react, and at halftime he catches up on what the other coaches have seen. I know that he communicates with his guys in-game, but at times he seems to get caught ball watching like the guys are instead of talking with the rest of the staff. He's very cerebral as we all know, so .....
