Commonwealth is our 3rd SEC road game. Have a couple of questions.

1. A friend attended the game in 2013 and said there is a grassy area east of the stadium to part in. Is this correct and can you tailgate there?

2. We have all day Friday and most of Saturday for sightseeing. He told us about the Kentucky Horse Park and going to Woodford Reserve. Can we get into Rupp Arena? Any other suggestions?

3. Addendum to #1, if there is tailgating, how early do you have to get there?

Thanks and see you Saturday night.

On #1, parking is extremely limited if you don't have a parking pass. I see that some people are finding grassy areas along nicholasville Rd (get there early) and some tailgate in the parking lots or in yards where pay parking is available along Nicholasville Rd.

On #2, I'm not sure which game you are attending (presumably this weekend against Mizzou) ,but check out Keeneland (it's best in October when live racing is ongoing, but it's good any time). You could also check out Midway (it's about 10-15 miles outside of Lexington and a great historic town with good restaurants and site seeing). Thursday Night Live is fun, it's in downtown lexington with Live Music and goes until the end of September.
