Good. That means it's okay that we lost to USC because UT also lost to USC. Good loss.

That being said USC might be the best team in the league right now. What a weird ass year.
I don’t want him, we had a Coach like him that played slow offense and tough defense. Guaranteed to make NCAA every year regardless of personnel. Built team around 3-4 star kids. I don’t think he is the big name that is the Wow Factor UK will need following Cal.
Not to make excuses for our very poor showing at SC but let's be a bit more fair. SC beat Tennessee on the Vols home court tonight so the 4 point win was much more meaningful than you suggest.

They rolled into Knoxville and beat the #5 team in the nation…they do seem to be legit.
This seemed like more Tennessee playing poorly than South Carolina playing great. Apparently, Knecht is the only offensive option for UT.

Point being Vols kept it close. We didn’t. That win for them over us was never in doubt. Not a bad loss in terms of who it was too but bad intents of getting absolutely manhandled.
I said we had a very poor showing but SC showed tonight they are no fluke. UT was favored by well more than they got beat by and it was at home (big difference). I stand by my post.

Home court is like 3 points. So that's really a six point swing between home/away.

Yep, sucks we got smoked but after you factor in the home court I feel less badly about it. They seem to be pretty legit.

We sh*t the bed over 6 minute span in 2H against SC. Yeah they whooped us but it was relatively close for a good potion of game.
Between 15 min mark and 9 min mark we were outscored 17-5 and that was pretty much ball game.
The bigger question should be for all the folks that thought SC was going to suck, apparently not.

It without a doubt moves USC up the rankings and metrics. And it absolutely changes what that loss is, because USCjr will be ranked come Monday (if they win this weekend).

No, Vegas made money on the juice like they always do. The outcome is irrelevant to them. All Vegas wants is equal action on both sides.
That's why the spread moves as money comes in on one side or the other. If one sportsbook has an unbalanced amount of money on one side, they just lay off the imbalance at another casino.
You HAVE to know that being at home, especially this season, carries SO MUCH weight.

If they came to Rupp and beat us by 17, you'd have a point. But that wasn't the case- we blast them in Rupp IMO.

Freaking Nebraska beat Purdue at home by 18...does that mean Nebraska still would have won at Purdue? Or is it more likely that if the game had been at Purdue, the script gets flipped and PURDUE wins by 18? @bbncal02
