Final 247 Sports 2020 Recruiting rankings

Correct. But can you imagine how mad our fans would have been if they dropped his ranking this time last year?

Oh for sure. I remember vividly a particular poster saying he would be our BEST player and “absolutely go lottery” AND that Keldon was leaving because he knew he’d sit the bench behind Whitney. All the while making fun of and bashing (with a plethora of laugh emojis) anyone who doubted him.

I think he’s somewhere in Tallahassee?

He does that with every incoming player.

Boston makes a huge jump; Clarke, Askew, Ware take big drops.

Fletcher with a massive -26 drop which seems really odd.

Boston: +11 to #5
Clarke: -5 to #9
Jackson: +2 to #31
Askew: -6 to #34
Ware: -4 to #40
Fletcher: -26 to #73

He might have some growing pains, but he'll be fine. He and Mintz will man the PG position just fine this year.

Mark this down..Walker Kessler will be the best big in the class..I wanted Cal to go after him..young Christian Laettner

Message to everyone: PLEASE STOP WATCHING HIGHLIGHT MIXES FOR SCOUTING. Watch the actual game films when you have the time. There are many on youtube.

MESSAGE TO EASTCOASTYOUNGCAT: Thank you, 2006 explanations to boomers, captain obvious.

I am excited about Askew but is anyone else worried he may be a bit to green to be an elite level PG as a freshman?

That is why Cal brought in Mintz, IMHO.

If Askew wins the starting PG spot, it’s not because we don’t have any other option. If he starts, then he beat out a guy with 97 games and 79 starts under his belt.

Here's hoping we get at least two years from Fletcher. I think this kid has the potential to become a huge asset for our program in the next few years. Elite-level athlete with good length and a growing skill set from the perimeter. He gives Cal the perfect utility guy off the bench if he buys in defensively.
