** One of the team sites covering UNC listed Brad White as a DC candidate for the Tar Heels. I would be shocked if anything came of that. Mack is running out of juice there and White is making a whole lot of money at Kentucky. Can't imagine that would be a move he would make if he turned down LSU.
** Here's a preview for OT Xavier Bausley's official visit which begins tomorrow: https://kentucky.rivals.com/news/official-visit-preview-ol-xavier-bausley
I watched Bausley's game against South Carolina. PFF scored it a 70, one of his better games of the season. Someone who down blocks very hard, fires off the ball, can get to linebackers. Still a work in progress in some pass protections but I think he would be a good add especially so you don't have to worry about finding someone later. The question with him is can he beat out Ford, Wood, etc., right away? At tackle the goal is to make yourself better right away. At guard, they obviously decided for the development option because they are returning everyone.
** I know it has been posted elsewhere now but can mention that UAB WR Fred Farrier, from KY, is supposed to be visiting. Was going to mention that when he got to campus but it's out. Think they want to spend some time around him and see how he fits but that's a guy that I feel like they have a good chance of adding. If they do, would have a chance to be a real rotation guy for them. They really had 3 guys they were really comfortable playing this season with Brown-Stephens getting his feet wet as a fourth. Next year they should comfortably go 4-6 deep which will be a big change. Less tight ends, less passing to the RBs you would imagine, so will probably be leaning on the WRs more in the throw game.
** Liberty WR CJ Daniels is a player I am following. Believe there could be some mutual interest there. Might be difficult to add someone who was a 1,000 yard receiver when UK's top three seems pretty clear cut but that's a guy I'm keeping an eye/ear out for.
** Never talked up the RB Peny Boone stuff. I know UK kicked the tires there at one point but don't know how serious it gone. Louisville and others have been linked to him, haven't seen an update on where he is going to go. But I do think another RB is very possible for Kentucky next year. Right now a lot is riding on Chip Trayanum with Demie Sumo-Karngbaye seemingly more of an option in the passing game.
