Page 3 (last listing). Fayette County schools superintendent and two others took a $24,000 trip to Australia “to invest best practices in social and emotional learning and equitable systems “. Our superintendent/school board sure knows how to spend some $$ (your tax money). I’m guessing not long before they say they need more tax money if we want better student results.

Appears that a couple of DOGE auditors need to be permanently hired to review several KY School Districts each year for this kind of crap. Districts should be selected based on risk assessments determined by DOGE so districts would not know if they’ll be selected.

This is ridiculous.

Just like Berea where the super took $40k in trips while the district has more than a $1 million deficit and is cutting tons of jobs and activities.

And yet the technology department is several techs short and under a hiring freeze.

That tech department is damn near the hero of the entire school district. In spite of the fact that they have to labor under inept management (looking at YOU Dave C.) (FCPS essentially ran off one of the best admins in the district (BM) because he just couldn't stomach the malfeasance anymore)

(these are my opinions and observations of having worked there for over 27 years)
