But you know, he really should have spent time in college. Just another reason why you should get to the NBA as fast as you feel comfortable with, maybe even faster. Sucks for the kid, but sucks a lot less when you have a guaranteed $3.91 million contact behind you instead of a college scholarship.

I agree. His injury is a fluke. Also, an injury shouldn't influence your decision to go pro. All of our lives could be changed at any second due to a fluke injury. You can't always live in fear of it.

With that said, I totally agree with getting to the pros ASAP. Lets face it. Half the players UK has had over the last 7 years would've never considered UK if they could've gone to the NBA right away. How can someone bash a foreign player who is draft eligible to pass that up?
