New job as special assistant to help conference improve qualify of football and relationships with conference and coaches.

When last we heard Cutcliffe was being mentioned as joining the Texas staff as an "analyst" to no doubt lure Arch Manning to the Longhorns. Guess that gig didn't work out.

What the SEC really needs is an apologist for their god-awful officials, the worst in college football. They're apparently doing nothing to upgrade that group.

What we really need is some of the critics on here to become officials and improve the quality overnight.. Of course that won't help UK that much because as a former fan they won't let you do UK games.

Then we could always solve the problem by letting the coaches call the game on the honor system. Just get rid of those dumb cheaters

Can't say that doesn't make me happy. But another year like 21 and Sark may not be there and the SEC job looks much more stable

Yep. The "infallibility of SEC Officiating" shtick is wearing really thin. They need a spin doctor to keep that manure from stinking.

Special assistant, boy there must be a ton of money floating around the SEC when you have jobs like this.
When you have a job title that is as long as a sentence, it likely is an unnecessary and overpaid position. Sounds as bad as the government when creating wasteful big money jobs.

Remember all those years during the Fulmer era when people swore UT had a special relationship with the sec?

Not saying this validates those claims but it definitely doesn't invalidate them
