Every time we go to punt or kick a field goal I close my eyes and pray

Plus block in the backs on punt or KO returns
I think # 21 was called twice for blocking in the back penalty
We won by a miracle on a bad snap on a punt, but it is frustrating game after game the same mistakes

Who says they lose if the penalty wasnt calked?

Was at the game yesterday and everyone around me noticed that he approached that first FG kick early. One of the worst FGs I've ever seen, BTW. Looked like a bad smother hook off the tee in golf. Just embarrassingly bad.

Either Poore or the true freshman who won't burn his redshirt now should be kicking FGs.

End of the game when we had the ball on their 35 YL 4th down 1 minute I about freaked out when Stoops elected to punt. After just witnessing that long snap, should have been catastrophe, he wants to risk another one just to save maybe 15 yards? I thought for sure they would just run another running play to take the clock down to under a minute and leave Mizzou somewhere in back of their 35 YL. It was hard to watch the snap.

One of the craziest days in college football that I have seen in a long time. Lot of weird stuff happened in multiple games. We may have used up our quota of luck for the next 10 years or so. On the other hand, we went for about 50 years when whatever could go wrong did go wrong so we are due a few years of favorable bounces.

Take the win and move on to Vandy and take care of business. Hopefully we won't have to sweat out the 4th quarter to post a win.

It looked like Ruffalo went too early on TV as well. The kicking issue is an embarrassment and a head scratcher. Ruffalo had been pretty reliable the last couple of years. It's not all on him, but it is way past time to get that problem fixed. My high school team in the early 80s was better able to kick XPs and FGs than UK has been this season.

I was definitely sweating out that decision to punt it that last time with the backup punter and snapper, but we managed to get it off and get out with a win. We've had 2 punts blocked and the bad snap yesterday. But until this season our punting game had been good. Duffy was an All American punter, won the Ray Guy Award.

No problems with our return game, we're pretty solid there.

Statistical studies and meta-analysis have shown that prayers in sports have only anecdotal effect, if any.

One thing I've noticed is that offensive players often point to the sky, apparently in gratitude, after scoring touchdowns or kicking field goals. I've never understood why defensive players rarely do the same thing after making big plays, particularly ones that prevent points being scored or timely QB sacks. Why is that ??

We hear people talk about being in field goal range. When are we ever in field goal range? We have the WORST special teams play that I've ever seen. Missed chip shot field goals, extra points being either blocked or mis handled to the point of not even getting the kick off. Blocking the other team in the back time & time again. And the most inexcusable Special teams blunder was again Ole Miss when Barion Brown on a kick off return had left the Ole Miss defenders in his dust & was headed for a touch down & his own teammate tripped him. Then throw in the fact that they about got our punter killed in yesterday's game. I mean how could it get any worse? It costed us the Ole Miss game & nearly costed us the Missouri game as well.

Praying during kicks and punts would lead me to believe we are alone in this world. Doesn’t seem to work. I am kidding for anyone that’s religious.
