ESPN's Gasaway ranks Diallo....

I think this is a very poor list, even if you think he has the correct players the order in which he has them is not very good.

I'm trying to find the article now. There was a write up a few months back talking about Knox potentially being the best player in class and having a shot at FOY.

He commits to Kentucky and is nowhere to be seen at espn.

[laughing]

If Coach K fails to make a Final Four with three of the top 14 players in the nation, it will be a failure on his part, right? Same for Arizona. They have four of the top 20.

And if Cal takes this rag-tag bunch to the Sweet 16, he's over-achieving, right?

Somehow I think that it won't be spun that way in media circles.

Terrible list, Bridges and Trier are way too low.

My Personal Top 10:

1. Miles Bridges (MSU)
2. Grayson Allen (Duke)
3. Allonzo Trier (Arizona)
4. Bonzie Colson (ND)
5. Trevon Bluiett (Xavier)
6. Michael Porter (Missouri)
7. Jevon Carter (WVU)
8. DeAndre Ayton (Arizona)
9. Joel Berry (UNC)
10. Nick Ward (MSU)

Gasaway tends to overrate freshmen which is why he has Carter and Duval so high.

The last Duke team with 2 All-Americans was 2001 with Shane Battier and Jay Williams and that was clearly the best team that year and maybe this century.

I knew that list was garbage as soon as I saw that dweeb at #1 again.

Dude should have went pro after he blew up Sophomore year, and here he is now a college Senior only known for being a complete douche.

Best team that year, yes. This century, not so much. Was a great team, though.

Douche U trolls getting passive aggressive jabs in before holiday weekend starts - lol. Grayson at #1 is a joke - no more need be said.

TIFWIW from ESPN:
UK:http://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...oden-1972-ucla-bruins-top-list-ncaa-champions

16. Kentucky Wildcats, 2012 (38-2)

Only a miracle shot by Indiana's Christian Watford and a desultory showing by the Wildcats in the SEC tournament title game against Vanderbilt prevented John Calipari's group from becoming the first team in 36 years to go undefeated. In its six-game march through the bracket, UK won every contest by eight points or more. Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Terrence Jones and Marquis Teague were all first-round picks in the ensuing NBA draft.

24. Duke Blue Devils, 2001 (35-4)

Coach K's team closed the regular season by winning at North Carolina and avenging an earlier loss to the Tar Heels at Cameron Indoor Stadium. It was the first of what would be 10 consecutive wins to close the season for Shane Battier, Carlos Boozer and Jay Williams. Krzyzewski won his third title when Duke defeated Richard Jefferson and Arizona 82-72 in the championship game.

Did Grayson Allen even make all acc last year? Bonzie Colson was an all American wasn't he? There is no way I would even put Allen on the preseason all acc team much less all American team. What a joke!

Grayson Allen is #1 on many, many lists..... just not this one.
