ESPN ruined BBM last night.

Yeah, the announcers may have talked too much, the broadcast may have cut away from some parts, but guess what? UK is the only school to have their madness broadcasted in its entirety on national TV. Not so sure that's what I would consider "ruining" BBM.

Exactly. I think some people still don't get it. This is treatment that no other school gets. Some people apparently expected a primetime game style scene. That's not what it was and they need to accept that.
The event I saw was incredible and we are lucky to get it .

As I said before "ruined" was a bit harsh, but my TV messed up so I am using my back up, which is a 32". I couldn't even tell who was who on the floor. ESPN has done a great service to bbn, but that didn't make any sense last night. It was like we were watching the announcers watch big blue madness. Fans care about the event, not the announcers opinion on the event, it was not a game.

I thought the coverage was adequate, but I put absolutely zero stock into BBM. It's a dog and pony show and I don't care if it's a homer fest or not. The split screen was annoying.

I didn't tune in until abut 7:50 so I can't speak to anything before that time.

So you could buy this 10 game pkg, use the UK tix and 'throw' the rest away. Between the baskets 2-3 levels are much higher, nearing 900. up for 1 tix. and up.
