You may not know this but there are actually people that live in rural America and have few options. I do not have reliable internet that makes it possible to steam everything at lightening speed. Not a slight at you but it’s still hard for me to believe people use satellite companies. It’s even harder for me to believe if they do, they pick Dish. Before I’d have Dish I’d damn near buy harbor freight bunny ears and sit around watching the western channel and Judge Judy for free.
using Dish Network is about like looking for a circuit city to find a CD sale in 2022.
Same here. Limited options where we liveYou may not know this but there are actually people that live in rural America and have few options. I do not have reliable internet that makes it possible to steam everything at lightening speed.
First of the month. Has nothing to do with football per sa.Also strange that it was taken off during a big football weekend.
Never again. They'll probably capitulate and raise your rates.Love my DirecTV.

I tried to re negotiate a couple years ago and they told me to go to hell. Then after I cancelled, they called me nonstop trying to get me back. They actually dropped my monthly charge by $40/month after I called and just flat told them what I could afford. I’m snug as a bug in a rug!
Same for us. We watch almost zero TV during the summer months, but usually around October, it picks up, so we keep DirecTV only for the simplicity and not having to stream (sometimes bad quality, even with gigabit internet here in Denver). But each year we call a customer service rep to cancel entirely knowing they will come back with some wacky deal. We're down to somewhere around $50 per month and get the channels we want, including SEC and ESPN networks. They actually dropped my monthly charge by $40/month after I called and just flat told them what I could afford. I guess I got lucky. I threw YouTube TV in their face and they gave me exactly the rate I em wanted. It’s good for a year and we’ll see after that. Had DTV for 20 years. Love that I can put 2 games on record, start both recordings and then switch back and forth between games at the spot I switched from.I tried to re negotiate a couple years ago and they told me to go to hell. And yes, Grom, you have to consider there are a LOT of rural folks that can't get good internet speeds. I just plan to disconnect completely (so do the kids) when we visit KY each summer because I swear I still hear the sound in the link below every time I try to connect to their wifi...(but I do agree - if you're going to have to get satellite, why on earth get Dish? I've had both and although Directv's receivers are clunky, slow and pretty much junk, the interface is much better than Dish.
Remember This Sound?
Yep, very intentional. People can be sooooo cruel when it comes to $$$$$$!!!Also strange that it was taken off during a big football weekend.
And you will. This game is off the charts huge!Horse$hit!
Now I have to find a bar in Gulf Shores/Foley that will have the game!

Morg, you probably have more $$$ in your front pocket than I have in my damn bank account!I know. I’m down and out I’m glad there’s people like you that recognize this. Can you cash app me 200 bucks and I’ll pay you back 220 next month? It’s for my kids.
LOL. I've been sweating this all morning, and my son said, Dad you have ESPN app on your laptop. And you will. This game is off the charts huge!

I doubt that will help. You need to be logged in with your provider to be able to watch games on the app. I'm sure your Dish login credentials are no good either.LOL. I've been sweating this all morning, and my son said, Dad you have ESPN app on your laptop.
Duh. All is good now.
Lol Ive got BBQ sauce on mine right now since Wed.I’ve been known to have the same spaghetti stain on my jeans for two straight weeks.
Correct I believe. If your provider no longer “provides” ESPN , the app will do you no good - unless you subscribe to ESPN+I doubt that will help. You need to be logged in with your provider to be able to watch games on the app. I'm sure your Dish login credentials are no good either.
I would suggest trying to watch College Gameday and see if you can get that.
Yes, that app is not working for me now. Going to sign up for the YouTube trial. Problem is my internet is not very good where I live so no telling how the stream will go.I doubt that will help. Figures something like this would happen right before the biggest UK regular season football game in 70 yrs!Yes, that app is not working for me now. Going to sign up for the YouTube trial. Problem is my internet is not very good where I live so no telling how the stream will go.
We just got it a few minutes ago.Sounds like YouTube Tv will be getting a lot of new subscribers today….
Horse$hit!

Actually, ESPN Plus doesn't even help with this. Having it doesn't give you the network channels.Correct I believe. If your provider no longer “provides” ESPN , the app will do you no good - unless you subscribe to ESPN+
Is the library option on there the same thing as DVR?So I don’t exactly know anymore what some can and can’t do. But if it helps here’s the link to watch all games for free. Obviously if you live where roosters wake you up I guess it won’t help but maybe it will help someone. Most streams are flawless if you’ve got good connection.
SportSurge - Reddit Streams

There’s some adds and you have to click in and out a few times but it’s legit.
You won’t regret it. YouTube TV is the best.

I'm watching on ESPN+ streaming from my computer as a result. They are all gone from Sling TV this morning, too.
