Today’s game will probably not be broadcast via Dish Satellite due to contract issues. All ESPN channels are now missing from the channel lineup

Not a slight at you but it’s still hard for me to believe people use satellite companies. It’s even harder for me to believe if they do, they pick Dish. Before I’d have Dish I’d damn near buy harbor freight bunny ears and sit around watching the western channel and Judge Judy for free.

using Dish Network is about like looking for a circuit city to find a CD sale in 2022.

If y’all have any problems getting the game by kickoff just watch it on surge for free.

You may not know this but there are actually people that live in rural America and have few options. I do not have reliable internet that makes it possible to steam everything at lightening speed.

They actually dropped my monthly charge by $40/month after I called and just flat told them what I could afford. I’m snug as a bug in a rug!
I tried to re negotiate a couple years ago and they told me to go to hell. Then after I cancelled, they called me nonstop trying to get me back.

Now I have to find a bar in Gulf Shores/Foley that will have the game!

Same for us. We watch almost zero TV during the summer months, but usually around October, it picks up, so we keep DirecTV only for the simplicity and not having to stream (sometimes bad quality, even with gigabit internet here in Denver). But each year we call a customer service rep to cancel entirely knowing they will come back with some wacky deal. We're down to somewhere around $50 per month and get the channels we want, including SEC and ESPN networks.

And yes, Grom, you have to consider there are a LOT of rural folks that can't get good internet speeds. I just plan to disconnect completely (so do the kids) when we visit KY each summer because I swear I still hear the sound in the link below every time I try to connect to their wifi...(but I do agree - if you're going to have to get satellite, why on earth get Dish? I've had both and although Directv's receivers are clunky, slow and pretty much junk, the interface is much better than Dish.

I guess I got lucky. I threw YouTube TV in their face and they gave me exactly the rate I em wanted. It’s good for a year and we’ll see after that. Had DTV for 20 years. Love that I can put 2 games on record, start both recordings and then switch back and forth between games at the spot I switched from.

Yea I guess it’s ignorance on my part. But in agreement dish is horrible. I can’t even understand how they’re in business. If I had to sattle up it’s gotta be direct tv or bust. I get it everyone knows they’re a rip off but what choice do you really have?

I had to stream direct tv and cancel YouTube TV because of Bally sports and the cardinals. Hated it. Not the ripoff the old DTV satellite was but just miss YouTube TV so much. I’m just gonna use surge and go back to YouTube tv after baseball season.

But yea ditch the dish oh my. That link man I’d just move to where people are. It’s like Africa. Well yea everyone is hungry nothing grows there but sand. Move where the food is.

I know. I’m down and out I’m glad there’s people like you that recognize this. Can you cash app me 200 bucks and I’ll pay you back 220 next month? It’s for my kids.
Morg, you probably have more $$$ in your front pocket than I have in my damn bank account!

LOL. I've been sweating this all morning, and my son said, Dad you have ESPN app on your laptop.
Duh. All is good now.
I doubt that will help. You need to be logged in with your provider to be able to watch games on the app. I'm sure your Dish login credentials are no good either.

I would suggest trying to watch College Gameday and see if you can get that.

Correct I believe. If your provider no longer “provides” ESPN , the app will do you no good - unless you subscribe to ESPN+

Yes, that app is not working for me now. Going to sign up for the YouTube trial. Problem is my internet is not very good where I live so no telling how the stream will go.

So I don’t exactly know anymore what some can and can’t do. But if it helps here’s the link to watch all games for free. Obviously if you live where roosters wake you up I guess it won’t help but maybe it will help someone. Most streams are flawless if you’ve got good connection.

There’s some adds and you have to click in and out a few times but it’s legit.

We just got it a few minutes ago.

You won’t regret it. YouTube TV is the best.

Is the library option on there the same thing as DVR?

Dish has the programming I want.

Also just trying to help if I can but you can do direct tv streaming free 7 or 14 day trial and it’s 69.99 after that. I’ve had to use it because YouTube tv didn’t get Bally sports where the cardinals are and it’s been fine. I’m going back to YouTube tv after baseball season though.
