Did anyone think with 35 seconds to go and down by 9 was a bit early to completely quit trying?

35 seconds is a lifetime at the end of a game...did you watch the Duke loss tonight. At least they gave it an effort.

No, it was pretty obvious that it wasn't going to happen for us by that point so I was just glad to see it finally end. Very disappointing game today but I'm already kind of over it and ready to move on. I suspect we have more of these games ahead this year but hoping Cal and team can get it figured out real soon and we become a contender come March.

When OSU's 28% free throw shooter swished 2 free throws, I knew we were finished despite whatever comeback attempt we made. That pretty much sealed the game right there.

I get what OP is saying,as the players were running up the court for the last 35 ticks 2 players kinda just stood there and then just started walknig up court.Yes the game was over but you always play until the last second, just my opinion.

I agree that is a little early. 9 points is a sizable lead, but you should make an effort, Overall we were out quicked and made several bad decisions trying to drive to basket when it wasn't there. Also there were moments when there wasn't enough basketballs to go around.

The good news is that its early and all are correctable

Cal knew it was over, so did I. It was over after that intentional foul. I don't blame Ulis for that. The ball should have been picked up at mid court.

An intentional foul is never good. Two foul shots and the ball doesn't help anyone but the recipient of the foul.

Intentional fouls like that are something that simply should never happen. He made no attempt to go after the ball. I feel like certain violations should be automatic sit on the bench violations.

In football, many drives are kept alive by stupid 15 yard penalties even when the offense was completely stopped. The player should be at the end of the bench for a while on one of those. In bball, to just grab the guy from behind on a break away is simply inexcusable.
