DOWN GOES DUKE

Duke had all the announcers, the media, every bandwagon fan in college basketball on their side and still couldn’t win that game. Now their fans are crying about the refs, all I saw in the stands when the final horn sounded was a bunch of red faced crybaby’s.😜
NBA Commissioner funneling them $ too. Don't forget his "Dark $" contribution. Nosferatu looking MF'er.

Grant Hill having a front row seat was the 2nd best part to knowing Coach K and "Mickey" were there to see this. Hope Ladyboy Ken Jeong was there too. Put his azz back in the trunk and leave him in the Desert.

Seth Davis will be in tears. Pure tears. He's not going to know what to say/do.

Jay Williams admittedly is in tears.

Jay Bilas will want an extra review process to officiate the late game pressing strategies and fouling "we need our game to eliminate". LOL

Dick Vitale may go to Cameron Indoor with the Mascot Costume on to console them.

Carlos Boozer and his Twins will be happy-they hate Flagg and they can be the "saviors" next year.

Silver will be so pissed off he may have the Celtics win the Lottery to land Flagg.

A key play to me was when Tyrese Proctor held onto the ball and ignored passing to a wide open Flagg or Kneuppel and then bricked the front end of the 1 and 1. Proctor has been the Poster Boy for Duke's insane hype machine for 3 yrs now-he was supposed to be a "can't miss" guy and we're here now. He's got a propensity to play "Hero" ball and it's killed them. Told my Boss who is the biggest Dookie on the planet that I think he'll **** them when it mattered and tonight--it was Tyrese Proctor time! Well done Mate! Way to ignore your open teammates-allow UH to stop the clock and throwing up a brick at the FT line made it even sweeter. Some moments are too big for certain guys and big games aren't a Proctor thing.

Duke has played 1 game in neutral court territory since earlier in the year and they lost tonight as they lost to UK and Kansas. In a game where their followers will say "we were the better team......" which is true in terms of roster investment/talent. Thing is..you have to make sure the $ doesn't got to role players heads and well.....speak on the fouls/non fouls, etc...this was a massive play in the meltdown from a guy who has made it a habit to meltdown.

For those who want to consider NY/NJ area "neutral" for Duke-you obviously don't understand their Subway Alums. So since end of year--their games in Charlotte, Raleigh, and Newark were pro Duke-they go to San Antonio and repeat history with the early season losses in Chicago and Vegas.
Scheyer shouldn’t have had proctor in the game at the end lol his coaching lost that game imo

The over the back call was bullshit.

But so what? I just consider it a little karma payback for the gazillion dubious calls that went in Duke’s favor over the years.
it was. from view of the tv, and the ref, it looked like he reached both arms over the guy’s shoulders. on the other side you could clearly see the guy leaned backwards into him. oh well.

Proctor choked big time.

He dribbled the ball off his foot on one key possession with about 2 minutes left.

Then, when Duke was still up by 1, he refused to throw the ball to a wide open Cooper Flagg who is an 83% free throw shooter. Instead, he held on to the ball and waited to be fouled.

That's when he did what we all knew he would do and missed the front end of a one-and-one.

Then he chucked a potentially game tying three-point shot above the shot clock.

Four failures for Proctor. A fitting end to one of the most overrated and privileged college players in history.

But he also added "Houston was better tonight" to be fair to him.

They were the most talented team man for man-but the work Coach K has done to ruin the ACC as a Conference came back to haunt them tonight. While they loved shoving it up UNC's ass this year--Coach K has absolutely destroyed ACC Basketball. No matter what we all thought-their Conference Tournament was the #1 thing in CBB for a long time and then Big East came in and stole the NY media from them. Now this weasel is trying to get Duke to the Big East in a "co-op" and he'd ruin that too. There's no way Duke can handle being 5th in a Conference that is loaded on a consistent basis as you see with Super Leagues-the automatic winning is done-you have to actually compete. Coach K doesn't want that-he just wants NYC to himself-which is what he and ACC expected when they added Syracuse. They thought they'd get MSG for the ACC Tournament, etc...and now they have 5th rate Conference Tournament that nobody cares about.

Couldn't happen to a nicer prick and their pompous program.

All hail Sir J'Wan Roberts for making those two clutch free throws and forever changing the course of human history.

May his tribe increase.

May future generations name a constellation amongst the stars in his honor.

May his face shine and reflect with glorious splendor for all of eternity.

All hail Sir Roberts!
No better player deserved it, he worked his ass off 6 years and never left Houston. Sampson called him the core of their culture early this year and he was proven right.

Yeah he did but I didn’t think he should have even mentioned Duke was the best team in the first place.

its just too hard to ask a Freshmen to put in a clutch performance for 6 games in a row against tourney competition.

its a lesson UK fans learned , or I should say most of us learned.

Flagg is a great player, but he'll also be remembered for his late game mistakes that cost Duke key games.

Just re-watched the end of this. Cryer was so clutch at the end. Nails the 2 FTs to put Houston up 3 and then initially deflects the long Duke pass in the last seconds and then once Knueppel gets the loose ball and tries to pass out to Proctor for a reasonable chance at a 3, Cryer deflects it again and forces Proctor to try the impossible turn-around 3 from further away. Well done Cryer!!!
