Drew Deener says Billy Donovan is in play for UL

I was listening and rolled my eyes and laughed. At some point they'll get a solid coach and it may happen in a few weeks but every fanbase of a program in the top 10 (historically) will dream of Donovan, Drew, and Wright until these guys are in their 70s. You knew it was coming though. They did this before settling on KP too. I think they end up with Musselman. It's a trainwreck in Ark and a perfect time to leave. Also the thing with Donovan is I can't imagine him coming back with NIL and the portal the way it is. What coaches are running back to college basketball when they've gotta worry about collectives and constant transfers?

Every fanbase thinks they’re going get one of Donovan, Stevens, or Wright.

A friend who is a hardcore U of L fan has mentioned Wright and BS several times. Fantasy land.

Donavon actually mentioned recruiting against Cal as one reason he left. He ain't about to come back to have to deal with him, especially playing second fiddle to Cal.
