Cal talked about Bam being able to hit shots in practice, even stepping out from 3. He's got insane athleticism and if he can hit shots in a workout he will move up quickly
I can believe that. Mine is probably about 42".
But can he shoot though? How about we stop using the most over stated "saying" in rupps rafters history.
I am not a GM and I am 100% biased...but do we really see these guys going ahead of Bam?
- Zach Collins - Gonzaga
- Terrance Ferguson - hopped overseas
- Justin Patton - Creighton
- Anigbogu - UCLA
- Donovan Mitchell - UL
- Harry Giles - Duke
- Tyler London - Cuse
- Not to mention the 3-5 foreign guys that average less than 5 pts a game
I still think Bam goes in low 20's based upon what I see from a man size body and athletic skill set he has.
What say you, Farrrrrrrrr (insert name), and done deal are all stated more than he gone, imo.How about we stop using the most over stated "saying" in rupps rafters history.

There are some things he does pretty well on a basketball court but great leaping ability isn't one of them. That site says Briscoe has a 37 inch vert. That can't be right can it?
I think the teams see an unfinished product they can improve. So basically, potential. What would be a strength of Bam as of today. Something he's above the field on.
Shooting, Rebounding, Shot blocking, long wingspan (?) maybe, maybe lateral quickness, good passer, aggressive finisher (finishes around rim..
His strength is his body. But. He didn't play as big as he looked IMO.
This is a toss up to me. Fans should encourage him to come back & not just instantly write him off.
His vertical for his size is off the charts! Top 10 all time in the NBA. He didn't play small he played young. He picked up his rebounding last 15 games to over 10 a game. He can guard the pick and roll and will be a beast in the pick and roll offense with the ability to leap over almost everybody. He was double teamed from the get go.What would be a strength of Bam as of today. Something he's above the field on.

We do this every year. I used to join in and swear that, so and so, is going to come back, but it just doesn't happen.
I stopped torturing myself years ago. The lockout year was great, getting TJ and Lamb back was sweet but, besides the Harrison twins, was there anyone else that came back under these circumstances? Ulis? But Tyler didn't get to truly showcase his skills during the 14/15 season and he was 5' 8" so he had to have a big year to take the leap.
But Bam, that guy has an NBA body and athleticism that is off the charts. An NBA team will teach him how to play as an NBA 4, he'd waste his time coming back to UK.
It would blow my mind if I was wrong here, but I just don't see him coming back, this is one and done U guys.
Yeah, but he was a wide receiver in High School. Betcha didn't know that.WCS came back and worked his way into the lottery
