Doyle

What are the big developments?

Supposedly visiting UK Fri, don't know if that's the reference here. Saw where Gran/Hinshaw are visiting Williams Thursday, putting the squeeze on Williams it looks like.

Thanks. Sounds like "first come, first served"

I'm just glad that we didn't burn that bridge apparently. Doyle is a very good QB.

They may try to visit this summer.

But Jarren Williams will commit back within 2 weeks so we're good at QB.

The JW decommittment thing still seems a bit odd to me. Probably coming back to UK but why decommitt in the first place? Did someone tell him something different that didn't happen for him?

As has been documented here the Rivals "experts" have been telling him for months he's too good to go to UK. He decommitted after attending a Rivals event a few weeks ago. Rivals shills are hoping for a UF/FSU thing with Williams. Have no idea what he'll do but something will likely happen within a month.

At this point does a "commitment" from JW really mean anything? He was "committed before, was even supposed to be shutting down his recruitment, we know what happened from there.

IMO you stay after Doyle and let JW do whatever he's gonna do.

Exactly. It is now being suggested that everything will be okay with Jarren. But this is the 1st week of May. I hope it all works out for UK with Jarren in February, because I have been a big fan of his skills and motor all along. My guess is that Stoops and Marrow probably told Jarren that we still want him, but can't hold a scholarship open for him if he doesn't recommit to Kentucky. Under these circumstances, how can anyone be sure that he won't change his mind again? Someone with a HOB subscription will probably debate my conclusion, but only Stoops, Marrow, and Jarren know what happened. February is a long way away. Doyle stated an intention to reschedule his visit to Lexington for the summer. He didn't say he isn't interested.

Does he have offers from both UF and FSU?

Yes. FSU isn't committable until he camps and Jimbo sees him throw.

Florida is gonna make a big push for him as is LSU. Those two are our main competition.

It'd help us tremendously if Florida flips Justin Fields from Pedo State and LSU gets Justin Rogers.

Still think we're In the drivers seat and lots of rumblings Williams is committing back and shutting it down within the week.

It's clear there is no such thing as a commitment for him if he comes back.

To me, it has to be very conditional. One visit, one camp, one hosted in home.... anything and you give his spot to whoever wants it. I hope he comes, but you can't let them do you like that
