I need Kentucky/UK related names for my new puppy (female).
My wife wants to name her Lexington Macy! We would call her Lexi.
Thoughts and/or suggestions are welcomed.

Just for reference in training if you plan on it: Two syllable names are the easiest for canines to recognize as their own and distinguish from actual commands.

It's a little wordy, but your dog would recognize his name...it's an original.

"Here girl....c'mere TomCreanisgoofyandthesanctimoniousIUfanbasearesausagelovers! Time for a treat!"

Ashely and Lexi are good ones that I've seen in this thread.

Or Jamal. It's a name for all types

I have 2 Danes, one's named Ashley and the other is named Blue.

You'll find that "Hey," "Stop it," and "No" are also good names.

I have a bitch named Willie because that's what my wife and I decided her name should be. Point being, don't get boxed in trying to come up with girl names. If the dog is a Tony Delk or a Michael Kidd Gilchrist, that's what you name her. If she's a Rodney Dent, call her Moonpie. If you had any stones at all, you'd name her Adolph.

These are great (and hilarious)!

I have twin boys. There middle names are Blue (for obvious reasons) and Trey (for the 3 ball).

A buddy suggested Tayshauna Princess.

I think that has become a very popular name for dogs the past few years. Had a neighbor next to me that chose that as a name for their dog. Sold their house and moved and the new neighbor that bought it just got a dog and chose the exact same name for it. How's that for coincidence?

I named my Bull Mastiff Trigger. Now before you go all "how does that relate to UK ?" Well I love guards and shooting from the outside if open. So Trigger is a subtle name in honor of the guards who played under Joe B. Hall. He never would let the guards shoot, so I give them the Trigger.
