What makes you say that? Seems like a great kid to me. If it’s the alleged money situation, a mistake that certainly would be, but not enough to say he’s not a good kid, imo.

No, his Dad, Zion himself, along with their beloved coach strung Coach Cal and UK along purposely so UK lost too much ground on other recruits. Made it impossible on purpose for UK to replace him. Strung it along until the last possible minute. A very dirty person does that. It is a character flaw I hope he can correct but...still has consequences...

This is totally different than Anthony Bennett's situation.
Bennett's problem was not injuries, instead he simply stunk on the court, he was just a bust. Whereas Zion is VERY much the real deal on the court, but the concern is whether his injured body will hold up.
The better analogy here is a possible Greg Oden situation.

I was thinking something like this as well. They are not going to make the playoffs and it's too late for him to win rookie of the year, so there isn't much incentive to play him this year. Just seems to make more sense to continue on the current path, get a higher draft choice and let Zion get completely healthy.

Nah I just think it's funny how easily it's done these days. People get so frustrated with the slightest comment. My point is nobody knows either way why Wall waited so long, we can give him excuses etc. I was merely pointing out that big time players like to drag these things out to keep their names in the headlines longer. It builds their brand. I don't know for a fact that Zion did it intentionally to hurt UK and neither does anyone else. It's just the puke hatred coming out and that's fine. Just call it what it is.

Dude is still getting millions. I personally think that he needs to lose about 20 pounds; it is very worrisome when you consider the injury and his weight. He has some skills, but athleticism is his calling card. Maybe he can slim down to 260 and play like Lebron.
