On their floor and the way we are shooting plus a desire to beat the number 1 team.....yes they can beat us. Stranger things have happened.
Yes, their coach doesn't yell at their players and they don't have anyone with a chip on their shoulder like Murray so it's in the bag for UCLA, they got this.
It's on the road and I'm sure they will be remembering last year. I still think our guys come away with the win but surprises can happen and we aren't exactly playing like a dominating team right now. I'm assuming Ulis will be back for us and that should make us look way different than the other night, he's that important to us and it was so obvious the other night at how different we look with him leading the way. They will have a tough time dealing with the three headed monster that is our backcourt.

We should win fairly easily, but Parker may be a little bit of problem. He is averaging double figure rebounding. He is physical player inside.
Which is why we will see the big Aussie kid log major minutes in this game. Skal aint ready for physical play yet. I hope he gets there before the year is over, but at this moment, he's just not.
They go 6 deep with some pretty well regarded talent. Their problem is coaching. They should be better than they play.
I hope that I am wrong ,but if we have to depend on Humphries very much this year we are in trouble. I think he needs another year to mature.
I guess it depends on what we are depending on him for. We know he isn't our number one option or one of the first 3 off the bench but it's not a bad thing if we depend on him to bang with an opposing big to keep Poythress and Skal out of foul trouble.
Not only that but I think the kid is very good, it's not like he's a project, he can play.
I think about that video all the time. I like BP, he's a great coach but he said "but we've got weapons" right after 3 of his kep players were caught with drugs snd weapons. Oh I laughed soooo hard when I first saw that clip.
Please don't get me wrong, I think he has a tremendous upside. I just think he is a year or two away from being really good.

How you get that? He's a good 3pt shooter and averages 15pts, 4rbs, 5asts.

I was just trying to mess with OP. Alford is a good ball player, however Allen > Alford and we shut him down completely. Tony Parker is my biggest concern with UCLA.

Ucla is a lot like Memphis. Both bring in Atleast 1 top 10 player ever year followed by a few lower 5 stars, and some solid 4 stars but then they go out and lay an egg and play like the u have never seen a basketball. I think part of its coaching, but I think the other part is discipline they know they won't get bench so they do whatever the hell they want to better themselves and reach that late 2nd round pick status they are dying for. They are all about themselves not the team
