The SEC needs the programs with the greatest proximity to the North to be good.

The Deep South will always keep their cream-of-the-crop.

Programs like Mizzou and Kentucky can sell success and close proximity to millions of people who have to travel two days by car to Gainesville, Baton Rouge, etc.

I doubt they are closer than two or three scores to UT in Gainesville or UK in Lexington. Neither will show any mercy.

They may well be sitting at 2-3 with three beatdowns shortly.

Nope. I live here and they think he is getting it done in recruiting. If they don't win 4 games - then he may be gone. If you look at their schedule - unless they make a tremendous turn around they may not win 4 games. I just don't want UK to be one of the wins. Obviously, at the moment we look good for that game.

- Utah was up 24-3 and then ran the air out of the ball. And Utah starting QB was out for the game. You can't spin that showing as nothing but a worse year than last year record wise. Florida plays McNeese, Charlotte, Florida, UK, Vandy, South Carolina, Georgaia, Arkansas, LSU, Mizz and FSU....do you see 7 wins in that schedule?

- Recruiting is fine.....but Florida has numerous 4* kids on that roster and transfers from Bama, etc...playing today and it's still the same old bonehead penalties and offensive scheme is clunky.

- And next year, if he makes it, they'll be breaking in yet another QB as Mertz is a one year QB portal.
