I think Popes offense and playing with better players will significantly help Lowe. If the guy shoots 88 percent on free throws, the potential is there for him to be a lot better shooting the basketball
And why is it you mention them and Not Chandler, Oweh , or Garrison? HMMMMM not being manipulative at all are you?A year of time isn’t going to make Noah or Perry athletic enough to guard SEC players.
dont be a dip shit, neither were "studs" when they transferred there. When I say studs I mean all american worthy like they are nowClayton Jr. - not a stud - LOL!
Broome - not a stud - LOL!
Do you even watch basketball?
Your silly criterium of "NBA draft position" is your sole measurement for "stud?"
Ludicrous.
Duke is not a good example since their second best player is a third year player in their system. Proctor is a great example of player development.“Player development”, and “fits the system”, are two lame gaslighting attempts to deflect away from the issue at hand, the issue most are still trying to avoid. Although, I’m starting to see more level headed posters accepting the reality as self evident.
The rest will come around in due time. Maybe after Duke goes back to back to back FF’s, by simply writing checks, and not from “player development”, or anyone “fitting in their system”.
Absolutely. However, I think it would be best to not consider Noah, Chandler, Perry as part of an 8-9 man rotation. They're there for additional depth and to serve as practice pieces who are trying to develop. This isn’t me being condescending. It’s a serious question.
Have we got so used to One and Done’s under Cal that we have forgot how returning college players can vastly improve their game? (I think back to the Jeff Sheppards, Nazr Mohammed’s, etc).
Yes, we need 2-3 portal players. Studs preferably. I still expect Chandler, Oweh, BG, Noah, Travis Perry to all be better versions of themselves in year 2. One of Chandler, Oweh, or BG could make an explosive leap! Add Kam Williams, Jasper Johnson, Moreno, and Acaden Lewis. We are 2-3 pieces away from being elite. Not 10-12 like last year.
You do realize this team was mangled with injuries all year long and still finished 6th in the toughest sec ever and made a sweet 16. We beat Duke & Florida both early in the year before we got all banged up.Fine for what........finishing middle of the pack in the SEC, wi. 1 sec tournament game, Sweet 16
That was OK for last year, but not going forward
these young new up and coming cat fans were under 15 years of John calipari so no they don't know they don't have a clueThis isn’t me being condescending. It’s a serious question.

Often times people correlate being a ¨STUD¨ with NBA potential or mock draft boards. Both of Dukes big freshman will be projected over Broome on draft boards. I highly doubt anyone would take them over Broome as a college player. Russ Smith was a ¨STUD¨ college player and wasn´t close to being a 1st rounder.Clayton Jr. - not a stud - LOL!

Cal killed a lot in a lot of us.I used to but Cal killed that in me!
