Does LeBron go to Golden State?

Going to lock down my humor with the middle sentence there, BUT I guess you think Kevin Durant is a whore. And DeMarcus Cousins. And (pick a superstar that has jumped ship on bad teams).

Your disgust for LeBron is obvious, but your comment is pure idiocy.

LeBron has led both his teams. He was the leader in Cleveland the first and second time around, as well as the leader that made Miami relevant again. Not sure how you categorize him as a 'whore'.
You need to settle down. It was a joke.

Surely he doesn't leave again. The league needs to find a way to fix this whole jumping ship. The Warriors are ridiculous, it's not even enjoyable to watch anymore.

Any team in the league can take advantage of free agency. People act like the Warriors broke some rule or something. lmao.

And what's not fun to watch? Multiple elite players on one team that could be "the man" anywhere else, working together, playing unselfishly, sacrificing personal gains in order to win a title(s). Yeah not enjoyable at all if it's not your team I guess.

Sounds a lot like what Cal preaches and sells to every player that comes to UK. And I'm SURE you don't mind UK stockpiling all the talent we get now do you?

LBJ has one more year I believe on his current deal with Cleveland. Cavs as constructed now aren't good enough to get past GS this year or even next year barring injuries to GS. So who do the Cavs go after to bolster their lineup for next season? Paul George? Gordon Hayward?
Cleveland doesn't have any cap space to sign Hayward and they don't have any trade pieces outside of Kyrie and Love to bring in George. I'd imagine all they can do is sign a couple sharp shooting vets to a minimum contract. That still doesn't get the past GS though.

You can't really include GSW in this debate, aside from the KD portion.

Have to remember, the Warriors were only able to grab KD because their other Big3 really haven't hit the big pay yet, especially Curry, who is making about $15 Mil/year less than what he should. They are combination of savvy business moves and luck.

But it isn't sustainable. Curry is going to want mid 20's for pay next year, and that has to come from somewhere. Then a year or two after that, assuming they continue to win at this level, Green and Klay will want the high pay (assuming they can keep these guys with Curry and Durant's salary).

GSW is very fortunate right now. It's not something that many teams can stumble into. Luck of the draw in a way, but it won't last much longer.

Holy wow.. Yeah I see that. Obviously in part because of salary caps rising.. but when Curry takes $40mil/year, you can kiss that dynasty goodbye.

His salary is a big reason for his success. Not so different than Brady taking paycuts to ensure the proper talent around him. When Curry takes that money, I'll bet his rank, wherever it is he may be, drops a fair amount.

They don't want to "fix" it, NBA has always been about dynasties. People were saying the same about Russels Celtics, Magics Lakers, Jordan's Bulls, Duncan's Spurs..Warriors are the dominate team of the century and it's making $$$$
According to those players you just mentioned, they would never join a super team.Jordan, Barkley, Bird, and many more have been extremely clear about it.

Since 2011 the Cavs have had five top 4 picks in the draft. Including the #1 overall pick three times, and the #4 pick twice.

2011: #1 Kyrie, #4 Tristan Thompson
2012: #4 Dion Waiters
2013: #1 Anthony Bennett
2014: #1 Andrew Wiggins

Lebron needs help if he ever wants to win another one. I dont think Kevin Love is the answer. Golden State couldnt take him, how would they pay for everyone? I think LA is where he ends up. Maybe with Anthony Davis. Magic Johnson is prepping the roster with nice, not great but nice young talent to trade away for all stars in a year or 2. He really wants Davis, and Lebron has been rumored to either the Lakers or Clippers in 2018. On a side not I would be worried if I were Julius Randle. Imagine being traded from LA to Cleveland. Ouch

He should go to the Pelicans. Already have arguably the top two big men in the league. Run a big lineup with LeBron at the point and find some 3 and D guys to fill out the roster.

In all likelihood they still wouldn't beat the Warriors but they would definitely present some matchup problems. I think LeBrons at his best when he can be a playmaker ala Magic and doesn't have to do all the heavy lifting as an iso guy (which he is still exceptional at). PnR with LBJ and AD? Beastly.

They would be able to take advantage of Warrior small ball lineups on O (would struggle defending the Warriors but that'll be a problem for anybody). Either KD or Draymond would have to guard a guy much bigger and stronger, possibly putting them in foul trouble. I think it would be a very interesting matchup.

I don't know their cap situation so this scenario may be impossible but as a hypothetical it is very intriguing. I would love to see it happen though.

The fact is LBJ/Cavs have to do something different cause they're not beating the Warriors any time soon with their team as it is currently constructed.
What a horrible suggestion. Demarcus cousins would be the best 3 PT shooter on the team. Curry/KT/KD would drain 3s left and right on that team

Shouldn't have traded Wiggins IMO
