Most of you that pay attention to my posts know I believe the league office is behind our terrible treatment by the officials. This treatment started about 6 years ago when Cal and UK began its decline. I have been saying for years SEC basketball was all but dead 6-7 years ago when we ruled the conference. A game against Ole Miss and Georgia would have 400 people there. The Areans were only full when UK came to town. I have said the league decided to bring basketball back. The first order of business was to let other teams win 10 games a year against UK to bring back interest.
Six years later look at the SEC now.
I don’t know how to link but I’m sure someone can post Jays recent comments on the rise of the SEC. He basically follows this format without saying it.
Jays Comments….. My goodness this league. We have never seen anything like this in college basketball. The 90s ACC ruled but back then it was 6 great teams. The SEC has 13 good to great teams. We got to give Greg Sankey a big shout out. This didn’t happen overnight. Greg put a plan6 years ago in motion to bring what we are seeing now
What exactly was that plan Jay? Did it involve UK falling from its lofty perch??
UK has received the worst whistle in basketball for almost 6 years now. It’s not even close. We thought they hated Cal, but as nice as Pope is the Whistle has gotten worse as we get better. We watch out first round SEC tournament exits while other fan bases enjoy Nashville like we used to.
You can’t convince me this wasn’t the plan.
Everything today is about money.
Please just save your conspiracy theorist crap posts.
Just google. Housing Crisis 2007 and read. Executives almost bankrupted the entire US of A for commission checks.
Anyone who doesn’t believe they would fix games in my mind are the stupid ones.
