Jeremiah Dinson just officially decommited via his twitter. Seemed expected the way he's been talking last couple months.

Humm ,,, he recommitted his decommittment.... okay

Going to Auburn. Least surprising decommit ever. We talked about this a week ago and basically swapped Dinson for Westry. We really need to hold onto Strowbridge and Riley.

Yes I think this has been expected, but I still like our class especially on the defense.

Re Strowbridge...don't forget his lead recruiter, Naviar, is no longer at UK. Maybe he doesn't feel the connection he once did. Hope UK can keep him.

No biggie, unfollow him on Twitter and move on. Oh rivals folks, now that he isn't a Wildcat you can safely move him from a low 3* up to 4 (or more).

Is Strowbridge considering decommitting or is this just our fan base getting nervous?

Still taking visits, at UNC this weekend I think.

No one wants their commits taking official visits to Auburn late in the recruiting season, seems like kids get blinded and think being out in the middle of no where in one of the 2 most backwards states in the country is the place to be. They haven't been on probation more than any school in the country for nothing.

Auburn has been cheating longer than UNC if that tells you anything. They pull out all the stops to avoid being Bama's punching bag.

Rumor is they have an understanding not to turn each other in, they have really been testing that treaty the last 3-4 years. Yelton was an Auburn commit and flipped to Bama, Rueben Foster was a Bama commit, mom, daughter got a nicer place to live and a job he flips to Auburn and 2 days before signing day, she gets a better job a nicer house and Ruben gets an H2 Hummer and he flips to Bama, then last year a LB who was an AU legacy lived in Auburn AL, parents have a business in Auburn, signs with Bama at his ceremony when everyone including parents thought he was going to AU. Auburn will steal one from Bama and the treaty will get broken and both end up with big sanctions.

I need a shower after reading that.

Grumpy you are off base with that assumption, their is no treaty. Alabama and Auburn get recruits due to facilities and tradition just like we do in basketball. I am not saying they have not cheated in the past everyone has, but, at the current level of their programs they do not cheat anymore than Georgia does.

Yeldon flipped right after Malzahn left and he was the reason why he picked Auburn in the beginning. You could see that flip coming the second Gus left. Rashaan Evans picked Bama because it came down to position. At Auburn, he'd be playing the star, and at Bama, he'd be an OLB. His father even mentioned that in an interview. He'd be a Tiger if Auburn recruited him as an OLB.

Regarding Foster, I heard from multiple people that he got into a heated argument with Reese Dismukes during a late visit to Auburn and the n-word was dropped repeatedly. When he moved to Auburn High School, he became very close with the son of Auburn WR coach, Trooper Taylor. Taylor was like a father to him, and I'm sure that played a role in his decommitment when he was let go. Grumpy, to be honest, I was a bit surprised that he picked Bama at the end. I thought he was headed to UGA to play with his buddy, Tray Matthews. He had a good relationship with the UGA staff, too.

Is Trooper Taylor still coaching? Major violations waiting to happen. Never will forget when he was at UT he openly used street agents in Miami but since Fullmer helped the NCAA nail Bama they looked the other way.

Trooper Taylor is still looking for a job. I think he has too much baggage for someone to hire him.

Not a bad poster and a good list, but don't we offer equal opportunity to all parties, where is the Auburn rebuttal team? Hell, we even allow UL and TU posters on here.

And KYCAT78, I don't believe for a minute that Georgia cheats as much as Auburn or Bama, why do you think they have all those players transferring to UL, Auburn, and even TU. And Bama doesn't need any more four and five star problems, they get plenty of talent without taking on other teams problems.

It's poaching season... I think that some schools interest in players might have more to do with keeping some schools weak rather than creating strength on their own roster... The more dominant schools recruit the cream, then when it get nut cutt'n time they look to upset the classes of the lower tier schools by cherry picking the best of what they want... There are players I would have loved to have had that get an offer from a BIG only to fade into the roster and never be heard form... A cautionary tale perhaps?

Dinson was probably on a lot of schools list but here it is late and he's getting quite the attention... Come-on-man........
Figure it out:)

No dude, there isnt any conspiracy theory with Dinson or Hamilton. Auburn or Ohio State were not setting out to hurt UK, they were just looking to fill out their class with the best talent possible. and it did not matter if they were committed or if they were committed at all. They missed on some prime targets, and late in the recruiting season they move on to the next class of recruits to offer. Hey guess what, UK IS DOING IT ALSO. We've been offering and having visits from guys committed elsewhere as well.

So are we trying to hurt Illinois, or do we really want that wide receiver who just decommitted from them? Or were we trying to hurt Pitt when we flipped Hamilton, or was he simply a player at a position of need?

the only shame of it is that guys like Dinson or Hamilton don't recognize that fact, that for UK they are prime important recruits we have always wanted, but for Auburn & Ohio State they are merely late backup plans, contingency offers because the players they REALLY wanted turned them down.

Just so I clear on this, Rueben and his family were able to move out of the projects into a much nicer place with his mother able to get a job at one of the auto makers near Birmingham, Rueben being a fulltime college student with a young child was also able to get a H2 Hummer that just all happened coincidently after he signed with Bama. He was never going to sign with UGA. He never commtted to us but committed to AU and Bama, not once but twice, even after getting that awful AU tatt.

No conspiracy theory... just see it as the way it goes... we offer early... kid commits...then as the Bigs fill up they begin to look at good players that just happen to have committed elsewhere... could be anybody... It also means that guys can use an offer from an SEC school to their own advantage... A good offer sheet is chum in the water as NSD approaches... We'll win some loose some but it does appear we have chosen wisely as some of our commits seem to be valued.... Better there than no one wanting our players... Recruiting is a nastier game than the one on the field.............

I find it interesting that we offered his little brother. Maybe that's who UK was after all along?
