We lost this game 10 different ways. Missed fouls shot and a zillion missed layups for starters.
LMAO yes all on Dilly. Not the 30 scored on Reed, including the 3 to tie where he completely was asleep and the 3 in OT he gave up. That doesn't include countless other times.
He shouldn’t have been the one at the line if we had a coach.
It’s on Cal. The players all have their nit picking points. What you can’t nitpick is not making sure Reed or Reeves is the one shooting freethrows late to seal the game

Rob, while 80% doesn’t have end of game freethrow reliability. He has a baby jump on freethrows and that leads to room for inconsistency. When you have 2 guys shooting near 90%, you don’t leave it up to chance. It’s different if the best guy on the floor is 83%

The problem is they aren't going to make it easy to get exactly who you want at the line. You take what you can get. It's not like we had a play to get it to Ugo.

Was something wrong with him? Sick? Played too many minutes? He missed pretty much every shot and had some horrible turnovers.
If you call a timeout to have someone other than Reed take the ball out then you have 4 guys it could be inbounded to…. 2 of those guys are 90% FT shooters. Thats 50% odds. By having Shep inbound that drops to 25% chance of having the best shooter on the line
More to it. You want your best passer inbounding in that situation as well. So that likely eliminates the 4/5 from being the inbounder.
