Also seeing how you are a Duke fan and can't be objective. K has all the top players in world at his disposal, cal has high schoolers that could be bums in 5-10 years
Cal didn't even have the best high school players nor the best under 19 players either.

K has restored class to USA basketball and now has all the top players WANTING to play. We (you) forget how bad TEAM USA was when he took over. A bronze medal in the Olympics under Larry Brown and a 5 loss and no medal in the world championships under George Karl, where Puerto Rico and Lithuania whipped us.

I mean it's not like Cal lost to Greece with Lebron, Carmelo and Wade on the team. Canada has some serious talent in their junior ranks. Losing to a team with Barrett going off for 38 is not a huge issue, although that should have been the Gold/Silver game.
I think Cal and the U19 team will be fine going forward. Hopefully he will learn how to play a zone.... or at least have one of his assistants run it for him.

Cal wouldn't be one of my first choices for it anyway. I'd try to get one of the better NBA coaches before even considering a college coach.

I don't know anything about the OP, so maybe I did reply to something intended to flame. But that is my honest answer.
Canada had an alpha type player go off and nobody on the US could lock him down. Also, the US missed a ton of FTs. Pretty cut and dry. Canada wanted it more.
Oh they've already found their next golden boy in Doug Collins. My God their little run in the NCAA was the most overhyped thing I've ever seen. I've never watched a game where the analysts were so openly for one team.
