He played over half the game, at least, but was rarely, if ever, asked to rush the passer. Played mostly a true OLB position and covered the TE and slot receiver. Did not make many plays that I saw, but clearly is much faster than J. Johnson.
Interesting, isn't it? Prior to this game, 1 of our busiest posters was insisting Hatcher would be a big difference maker. I tried to explain why that was doubtful. Haven't seen any posts this morning by that guy, maybe he is still in church. I agree with you that our D overachieved. Will Grier played well and put a lot of pressure on our D. We responded. The 1st Florida TD was on a short field after Hargreaves' interception. We blocked the FG. We made Florida work hard for everything they got. This was 1 of our top defensive efforts since Stoops got here. Unfortunately, Florida's defense was even better.
