Did Auburn peak too soon?

You shouldn't judge SEC teams by what they do to others. There are very few if any teams outside the SEC's top 4 that plays nearly as well.

Yep. They peaked when they won their Superbowl in Rupp and acted like typical Bruce Pearl undisciplined idiots.
I remember thinking and posting about how stupid his WE'VE LOST ONE CONFERENCE GAME THEY'VE LOST SEVEN! Pregame speech was. Lol, well now you've lost 3 and are out the the tourney, so uh... yeah?

Following Kentucky for 50 years, and it amazes me to still see some things stay the same :

1) How many times has a team gone into an SEC game where they are to play Kentucky and lose the game immediately before playing us?

2) How many times have SEC teams lost FOLLOWING playing Kentucky, especially when they win?

3) How many times have we seen the SEC teams get sky high for Kentucky, have a good year, only to fall flat and lose early in the NCAA tournament?

4) How many times was Kentucky the last team (or one of the last 2 from the SEC) to still be standing when the NCAA tournament is being played?

Many many times - is the short answer. It'll be interesting to see how it all ends up this year.

They might have peaked too early. I can buy in on that. I also think Duke could be in real trouble if Cooper Flagg is done. I could see this tournament being the Wild West. Going to be all about matchups. Gators, Tide, Houston, even Texas Tech could sneak up and steal a title.

Wouldn't surprise me if ST. Johns makes a good run!
