Did Anybody Else Wuss Out? Not watch the game until it was over.

Or was it just me?

Great game by the way.
@Son_Of_Saul made sure to announce Monday that be wouldnt be watching the game because we were going to lose but I saw him celebrating at the end of the game.

Guarantee he did watch but was establishing an alibi had we lost, lol.

I will admit that I thought I would watch the first half but not the second if we weren't doing something special. We did something special and I watched the entire game.

No...I turned it off at halftime of the Vandy game because of the lack of effort. But watched this one the whole way through. We fought the whole game minus the last 3 minutes of the first half.

I watched it to the end. Sometimes with the sound off though.

Didn't watch it until 7 pm MST but that's because a 5 pm start here in Denver isn't really doable with coming home from work, family dinner, etc. Nothing to do with the reasons other people claimed to not be watching tonight. I rarely watch the game live so I can skip through commercials. Just have to stay away from social media, texts, here and the ESPN app!

I haven't forgotten about a UK game or purposely not watched since Cal was here those last three years. The apathy I lived with was real with him around ruining games day in and day out. I literally got to a point where I almost didn't care if we played or not.

I was in a rehearsal until 8:30 last night so I was not able to watch. (admittedly, I was expecting the worst and was glad to have a distraction)

As soon as I was free, I hopped in my car and tuned the radio to the game. I was stunned to have Kentucky up by 8 so I hurried home in time to watch the last 4 minutes on tv.

I wussed IN. I had a work project and I really didn't think this game would go well. So on my 2nd screen I didnt even have the game on, just the ESPN Gamecast.. Once we got that 8pt lead in the 1st I started to pay attention and I think i put it on for the 2nd half.

This is what I do and have done for years. No commercials. No pre game or halftime nonsense.

I'm literally never going to be home at 7 on a weeknight. so I watch a lot of games after they have finished. it's my preference. more time efficient. I skip the commercials and free throws. If we lose then I just don't watch most times at all.

I’m surprised anyone watched after the doom n gloom KSR yesterday.

Christ…you’d have thought the whole team came down with polio and that UT had the greatest college team ever assembled.

I watched it all! Turned the sound down to I didn’t have to listen to Dykes! I knew if we made shots we had a good chance of winning, Tennessee has a hard time scoring 60 points!

I watched most of the 1st half then had to get some work done.

If I skip an event, it's usually a football game because they tend to last 5 hours now with all the commercials and replays.

I work 4 to 9ish at UPS so Tuesday games I just watch the replay normally. Me and the fiance loved watching this game together. She is somewhat new to UK but she bleeds blue(she's from Chicago, never was into college athletics even though she was a college athlete) but she yells at me if I watch a game without her now, even if we watch it together after lol

She was fresh out of c section surgery for our son when the Oakland game started and she said "hand me my baby, and hand me the remote"

I can't wait to marry her.

Great game by the way.
I have to admit, I couldn’t. I get so pissed off i can’t sleep. I can live with some of the offensive let downs, but bad defense makes my whole body want to spontaneously combust.

I had my buddy giving me the play-by-play the last 2 minutes😬😬. So happy for the team and Amari in particular.

Never leave the scene. The part where the buffoon refs continued to shutdown the game in the final minutes was maddening.
One of these days, refs might want to consider calling the game the same on both sides.
We had, what 4 reviews in the last 2 minutes? Their calls after reviewing for 20 minutes, are even more egregious.

I really don't count on the refs to be consistent, but it sure raises the decibels in front of the TV.

Pretty much me for every game. Also, I've stopped attending games. I cannot remember the last game I attended and UK won. Yes, I was in Nashville, at the game Saturday, also Indy in 2015, also at Rupp when Cal lost his first game at Rupp, yes, at almost all of the Champion Classic, in NOLA in 2017 when UCLA beat us but when I didn't attend the UCLA-UK game in the NCAA, we won. You might see a pattern here.

Had to work so I watch the replay thanks to BWO. But I do listen to the great Tom Leach call the live game. We are so fortunate to have Tom calling games.
Tom is really good. I like listening to Jack as well. He’s so invested in UK and the players. So happy when he interviews the star of the game. Pulls so hard for the in state guys.

Goose told a funny story about Lamont Butler. At one of the first practices he introduced himself to Butler. Said Lamont was pleasant. The next day Butler came up to him and said I goggled you and you were the mvp of the Final Four and a National Champion!! Why didn’t you tell me?

Jack was impressed that Lamont took time to look him up and know his stats and history.
