These guys are almost the exact same player, Diallo better put together as SR basically where Lee is now.

lee has a great motor as well, really hope he gets to start this year. He needs to refine his post moves, though he's like a CJ Leslie was at NC State, he can make stuff happen just by his own initiative and athleticism.

Motors are different but Lee has a motors sure. They have damn near the same skill set. Go back and watch the hoop summit two man drill practice with Skal,Maker and Wynyard. DIallo has almost zero post game.

I'm worried that having two Lee type players on the floor is not a positive. I'm hoping if we get Diallo, he developes a better offensive game.

Poetax get the bleep outta here. Diallo is way more talented than lee. Diallo got mvp not once, but twice during the allstar games.

So Diallo is the MVP of the last two all-star games and is projected as high as 4th in next years draft - but he's going to sit on the bench for the next three years?

Got it.

Come on guys. Diallo is projected as the 4th pick on NBAdraft.net in 2016. Lee isn't listed in the first or second round. Lee is a decent college player but Diallo showed things in the All Star games that Lee simply can't do. I want Lee to take a major step forward with his play this year but I want Cal to convince Diallo to become a Cat. He will start from day one.

Marcus Lee was projected too as a top10 pick. There were a handful more studs in Lees class too. Randle,Parker,Wiggins,Gordon you think Diallo would beat those dudes out for MVP? Dont get me wrong i want him, just temper your expectations some.

I just checked NBAdraft.net 2014 and Lee is not even on the draft board so no we are not comparing apples to apples here. I just hope Cal gets Diallo. My expectations are just fine. It's pretty easy to see what kind of player he is.

He didn't say Lee is currently projected top 10. Lee was projected top 10 about a year ago after the Michigan game. I've seen Diallo in person get abused by a four star guy in a real game. You all thinking Diallo will be a stud next year are in for a sad disappointment. He has the exact skill set of Lee but plays a little harder. He's only projected 4th in a mock because of the playground Allstar game performances. He's no where near that good in a real game with half court sets.

I just saw Diallo play too against the best high school players in the country and he dominated. Admittedly there is not a lot of defense played but the talent level in these games is much greater than seeing him in a regular season game. I just hope Cal gets him and I do see a high level player that helps the Cats right away. Players with that level of athleticism can be taught to play defense. In most cases the high school coach doesn't want them to play defense so they can stay out of foul trouble.

I don't remember Lee being projected anywhere near the top 10 at any point in his career. If I'm wrong then I'll gladly have a dish of crow but I don't think Lee has ever been a projected top 10 pick at any point and in any draft year. At least not yet, he will have an opportunity this year to move himself right up the boards though and I hope the kid takes off!!

Lee was 100% being projected in the top 10 for a brief moment and still even being touted as a first rounder just about a year ago. Dosent matter now. And yeah Diallo does seem more ready to mix it up and once he gets on campus and in the S&C could beast out even more.
