Not sure why. Expert on here yesterday said Sheron had third highest PFF grade during South Carolina game. Look for Stoops and Windbreaker Pants to develop him into first or second rounder.
My kids go to Summit High School, so I got to watch Destin ball out for 3 years. Unless he's doing some major development, he will not play at QB. He's a freak of an athlete, but not an SEC QB.
So the staff lied to him?
likely the staff told him they would give him a shot at playing QB. This is what they have done.
Heaven help us if the kid turns into a good player, what are we going to piss and moan about then?
We had Penn State down 27-7 in the fourth quarter. We had a chance to make our very own statement. Usually teams in our conference shove a big ol’ dildo stamped with an SEC logo up a Little Ten butt in that position. Still very disappointed with the coaching staff.

Bitching about style points in a major upset of a Big Ten team that propelled us to our highest finished ranking in 41 years . . . very Salty.
We play the game to WIN, and Stoops is our first coach to do so in a longer period of time than your lifetime.

Not that I’ve heard or read. I know Purdue wants him as a QB and Brohm knows a good QB when he sees it.
He’s about the same size as Bryce Young and he’s doing just fine. Not saying this kid is Young but he may be a baller even at his size.
Let us be honest. If you want to be one of the very best in the SEC every year the QB has to be one of the best in the country. We need either a proven veteran on the national level or an elite 5 star at another program that is behind one of the very best QB's in the country for next year. Without a great QB, we will drop down at least to the middle of the pack in the conference if not more. Just too many great QB's in this conference and if you don't have one their is no hiding.
Even before Scan got here, summer 2021 Coen ran Wade through drills in our camp, and obviously was in agreement with bringing him here as a QB

he isn't in the SEC yet, he is in HS and probably wouldn't play in the SEC for at least two but probably 3 more years!
Until Wade competes in spring ball and moves up depth chart he’ll be looked as a guy we took to get his brother at DE and him as athlete
I don't know his potential but he is listed as "or" with Sheron at the #2 spot this week. Stoops commented he wanted to get him snaps vs USCe but did not work out that way.
I like that he's worked ahead of Hogan and appears to be somewhat on level with Sheron. IT's hard to tell if he's just a special package QB or would be asked to run the full offense on that depth chart/comments from Stoops
Next step is this spring he's goign to compete with those dudes along with invariably a portal QB.....then we'll see where he truly sits as UK's future at QB.
Anyone who wants Stoops gone is not having a good time, it means you are miserable.

Accept the fact that your staff sold him on the chance to play QB, which technically, they've followed through on. Now you've got a stud athlete with a redshirt & Keaten is already producing on D. Seems like a pretty solid recruitment for you guys.
I really hope that he does play QB, as it gives UT an immediate advantage, unless UK starts running the Wing T.
Don’t think that was the Levi’s package but more if the Stoops limit the O to prevent mistakes-hope the D balls out n scores n gives us short field positions couple time n pray we squeak by lol
Terry Wilson did well here and although not quite that small, he was a WINNER!
