You got me. Maybee they pull off an Ole Miss type upset. I think 3 is more likely than 5. I think we would all agree that the 2024 team had more tallent than the 2025 team will have and we have the same SEC schedule.

I’m hoping that we field a team similar to the basketball team. A bunch of guys that want to prove themselves to the SEC. I’m crazy but, I’m expecting a 6-6 record next season. I think we shock some teams if we can stay healthy. IMO
I don't think 3 wins is the floor next year. I'll go out on a limb right now and say if Stoops is UK's coach next year UK goes 2-10. Our defense loses pretty much the entire front seven, starters and reserves that played this year. Our offense was incredibly bad and we lost probably the two most talented guys we had on offense to the portal with others also transferring or graduating. A lot of coaches could have had a winning record with UK's talent this year but next year we'll go way down in talent. It's going to be bad if Stoops is still here.
We are definitely looking at 3-9 next season. Who knows, we might get lucky and beat Vandy for a change and go 4-8 again.
Stoops will be here. At this juncture with the portal becoming depleted of quality he won’t be fired. Next year will be Jokerish and maybe the next couple. Barney doesn’t have the guts to fire him. We should call the football team the Titantics instead of Wildcats.
Next year will be the third year since I've been a fan that UK has willingly just given up a year of football.

Why does UK always have to let it get so bad and wait an extra year when everybody already knows? Other schools don't do this. Hell, Alabama ran Curry out of town after a 2 loss season. I'm starting to think Kentucky's shot callers are fine with UK being a doormat in football...

6-6?how. We don't have a QB , again. We are questionable AT BEST at reciever, an unproven untested O line a weak,thin d line and huge gaps in our secondary. Our coaching staff is a mess and we play a brutal schedule next year. Not a chance in hell we go 6-6
Only if we would've gotten rid of Stoops and put someone like Sumrall in that position. Then I could've seen something similar to what's happened with the basketball team happen with the football team next year. If we win a 4th game it will be pure luck next year with the whole current situation.
Just look at what our media is trying to do now. They are trying to hype up calzada when he sucks, and this RB from Nebraska to. Kentucky is getting the scrapes in the portal and next year is not looking good right now
With no change in Offensive line coaching along with loss of the entire Dline two deep I think three wins is a lot.

Yeah, Calzada threw for almost 4000 yds, 35 TDs....guy's a bum. Let's write him off before he even signs.
He struggled in the SEC and had to go the FCS route and still struggled when he played any team with a pulse. Calzada is fine but if you want to be serious SEC level team, calzada isn’t the answer
I have this quirky little thing, think we need to see what the guy can do before we right him off. "Stoops wants him so naturally he's not worth a shit" isn't a reason. This player has had injuries, including shoulder surgery, but is healthy now...do you understand that? Or do you even care? What QB would be your choice?
