Derek Willis played less than 10 minutes during Kentucky's six games prior to UCLA. Against the Bruins however, he played 14 minutes and finished with 11 points and six rebounds. He's still trying to earn his spot in the rotation.

Apparently not. Folks keep shrieking about him getting more playing time. Must not be obvious to them.

Derek is good enough to get some minutes when others aren't playing well or in the case of UCLA, Lee out, and others along the frontline MIAs. I never worry about Willis coming into a game. He can basically hold his own against most opponents.
