Deion Sanders

From what I see, they're definitely a much better team than last year. Not sure they've played much competition and the B12 is very much a 2nd tier conference. I don't believe Prime is building any sort of program, though. Their offense is completely dependent on his son the QB and Travis Hunter, both of whom leave at the end of the season. Ask FSU how easy it is to build a consistent winner by shopping the portal every year. If he stays in Boulder, I'll be interested to see how good they are without those two guys who are difference makers.

They're gonna fall back to mediocrity when they lose Travis and little sanders (QB)
Travis is the best player in the league.
The only thing I don't care for with Colorado is the way they conduct themselves you think we do some bonehead crap with the talking and just unnecessary stuff...... Colorado is absurd.

Iirc they paid good money to upgrade their line of scrimmage. Add in two talented skill guys, a poor schedule, and this is what you get.

Imo he wont leave this season because he has another year of Hunter and his sons. After that he will be looking to move.

Dione is all about the flash, and in his day he could back it up. Alot of kids are drawn to that, Travis Hunter for example. Lot of talk here in Georgia that JuJu Lewis is on the verge of flipping from SoCal to Colorado. JuJu doesn't have great size and isn't full threat. But he is very accurate and plays in the state's highest classification. But he is surrounded by elite talent, 10-15 P4 players on the roster and near that many lower classification players. So how good would he be with a comparable roster to the teams he plays.

It really is worth it to invest MORE in your OL and DL than it is to put too much into QB without them. START with the OL so you're ready to protect your QB.

Sanders chose the big12 for a reason. Money and hype has done the rest. This year is as much a product of the kids he lied to as the rest of the kids that stuck around. I don't know how much of it is coaching and development. I haven't had time to watch much of anything outside of SEC and Big10. Just little bits here and there.

I guess this is where things are now, and you can't say he's not working it effectively.

If you’ve watched Colorado they’ve improved drastically from the beginning of the year to now. They legitimately might make the playoff. At this point saying he can’t coach is just being stubborn.

I'm 99.99% sure both Shadeur and Hunter are gone after this season. Shadeur is being mentioned as QB1 off the board at the NFL draft and Hunter is (or should be) top 10, for sure. No way either stick around. Deion has a younger son who plays CB, I believe, so he may stay one more year but I'll have to see it to believe it.

Has he really ? Yes they are 7-2 but let us look further into it.

Wins : (combined record of 28-27) not counting ND State record.
ND State - WOW !!
6-3 Colorado State - Big Win !!! Not. Colorado State has beaten NOBODY, fluff 6-3 record.
5-4 Baylor
4-6 UCF
3-6 Arizona
5-4 Cincinnati
6-4 Texas Tech (decent win)

Losses :
5-4 Nebraska
7-2 Kansas State

Games remaining : (combined record of 10-18)
4-5 Utah
3-6 Kansas
3-7 OK State

He hasn't really turned it around, he just hasn't played any team worth a shit. They have played ONE (1) (UNO), top 25 team, Kansas State, and they lost. Not a single victory on that schedule you can look at and say "Man that is a very impressive win", not ONE. They will run the last 3 games and finish 10-2, but really ?

Dumbass Mike Greenberg was absolutely a clueless saying "Should Deion Sanders replace Mike McCarthy in Dallas ?" What ???? Beating a bunch of .500 teams in the Big 12 is NOT NFL head coach worthy. He will bolt Colorado after this year because he knows the lightning in a bottle will float out to sea. Not because he did such a great job, but because he knows next year will be dire. The reasoning for Greenberg was that he "won the SWAC conference and was SWAC coach of the year both years." Yes, that most definitely screams "head coach of the Cowboys worthy."

My mistake. I didn't realize they were eligible this year. If they are, i agree they are gone. If they are gone, he is probably gone.
