I’m still licking my wounds from that total embarrassment of a game that set offensive football back 5 decades.
I‘m damn near convinced that if there was a 5 minute play clock we’d use 4:59 of it before hiking the ball. Lol. I joke. I joke….kinda.
Maybe the fear that we all really carry in the back of our minds is true. Maybe we’re just another Wisconsin, Michigan State or Kansas State that is capable of an outstanding run here and there but not much more on a consistent basis.
But, maybe we really are more than the previously mentioned with a better foundation for success.
I know this, we’re gonna find out pretty damn soon. BBN has had a taste of success and doesn’t like the haunting image of returning to the “Old Kentucky” that we all suffered with for over a half century.
