Was listening to Jay Wroght the other day talking about kentuckys defense and how much better it has gotten. He brought up a great point. When Mark put this team together none of them had ever played in his system or with each other They had to learn everything from scratch. So coach started with the offense and got it where it needed to be first and then brought the defense along during the rest of the year. They have greatly improved and I think will be fine going forward as long as we keep some of the same players in the system!

Many coaches would start with defense first, and then wait for the offense to click. Personally, I'd rather average 85 with a struggling defense than 70 with an elite defense. I don't like rock fights.
Don’t let the CCC fans hear you say that. If it’s not an ugly slopfest of a win, they aren’t happy, everything has to be difficult. That’s the only way it really feels like a win for them.
